Sarah Jessica’s personal style is even more inspiring for me than Carrie Bradshow’s. Although there is a resemblance in overall style, she hasn’t tried to replicate Carrie’s looks.
I would like to focus on her casual looks in this post.
I adore SJP’s streetstyle looks for being very clean and simple.
Below are my favorite photos from 2010s and early 2020. I think her style has been quite consistent but at the same time remained very relevant.
I like that she prefers well fitted slim jeans, and even when she experiments with different cuts, overall style doesn’t change. I also find interesting how she has been folding her jeans, in a way I have not seen around much during latest years. She is obviously not afraid to look outdated. I think because the rest of her looks are so well matched, elements that might look very outdated in a different combination, look very stylish on her. The looks that she demonstrates are more likely to influence the fashion trends than look irrelevant.
And obviously nothing beats a clean slim jeans + high heels look which she is masterfully using

How she layers her outfit also makes a difference. She is using different shades of similar colors or neutral and close shades of different colors, when she has multiple layers. The same layers wouldn’t look good with bright different colors.

She has a very clear algorithm of matching her casual outfits, but she also displays monochrome combinations, bright floral dresses, beautiful synergies of prints and many more looks.
I want to point how much of a great ambassador of her own shoe brand she has been, with her beautiful looks and exquisite shoe collection only ever complimenting each other.

My favorite trends of her In 2020 were her bright off shoulder Samsonite bags, beautiful multi patchwork colorful coat and grey jeans which she was being expected to bring back to fashion.
