Valentino 2021 Fall ready to wear collection had 66 looks in strictly black and white with some pops of gold.
The show was held in Milan’s Piccolo Teatro – in a dark empty hall – accompanied by live music performed by Cosima.
Pleated mini skirts, large pointed collars, lace collars, turtlenecks, and check prints created light 60s vibes. It was very geometrical collection with a lot of sharp lines and shapes.
There were occasional organza and lace elements that added feminine touch to the very strict collection.
The combination of oversize top and micro pleated bottom was very regular. It was very refreshing to see so many looks with micro skirts. The strict tone of the collection made the short bottom look very elegant.
Plenty of nets from sweaters to evening dresses.
