A lot of fashion pieces from Sex and the City series and movies have become symbols of the show and part of the storyline.
The two movies have started the tradition of re appearance of some of the famous items from original series.
And Just Like that has continued this tradition, re introducing some of the pieces from the original series and both the movies. We can also see quiet few looks that were clearly inspired by previous episodes.
Here are some of the tributes to the iconic fashion moments:
The Manolo Blahnik ‘Wedding Shoes’
By far the most symbolic piece of clothing in the show are Carrie’s sapphire blue satin Manolo Blahniks which are her “wedding shoes”
The shoes have become famous from the scene where Mr Big proposes to Carrie with the shoe, Carrie also wears them to her second final wedding with Big.
The famous pair of shoes make an appearance in the new season in the saddest moment of the show, as Carrie wears them for Lily’s piano recital, the day when Big dies.

The Fendi Purple Sequined Baguette Bag Look with Chanel Boots and Tulle Skirt
Following Mr Big’s death and her return to her old apartment, Bradshaw goes through her original wardrobe and takes out oversized tulle white skirt and pairs it with a striped top.
This look is reminding us of Carrie’s love for tulle skirts, and bringing back her Chanel boots from her date with Petrovsky in season 6 at the same time. Fendi purple sequined baguette bag is also making a comeback in this look. Famous Baguette appeared first in the third season in a memorable scene, where Bradshow wears a giraffe printed dress and gets mugged on the street.
Introduction of the famous Fendi baguette has coincided with re launch of this bag by Italian fashion house to the great excitement of the fans.
Iconic bag was very successful amongst both the fashion lovers that are fans of the brand and Carrie Bradshow enthusiasts.
Being one of the most loved items of the show it appeared twice in the new season: first time when Carrie opens her old wardrobe, and second time when she matches it with shimmery bright printed dress, white cardigan and sparkly bronze shoes – combination only Carrie Bradshow can pull off

The Versace Mille Feuille Dress
Episode eight brought back another beloved piece from the original “Sex and the City” series: Bradshaw’s Versace “Mille Feuille” dress that she famously wore for a date with Alexander Petrovsky that never happened in the season 6 final episode.
The nickname of the dress was given by Mr. Petrovsky himself, when he discovered Carrie asleep covered in countless tulle layers of the dress.
The dress returns in the reboot series during a scene where Carrie was showing her fashion archives to her new friend Patel and remembering how she only wore the gown twice (once in Paris for a dare and once in her own apartment when eating Jiffy Pop)

Chanel brooch
Another recycled item was part of Carrie’s look for Charlotte’s daughter’s piano recital, was Carrie’s Chanel brooch that she has worn before in season 3, when she was dating a politician and was playing dress up as she was supporting him in his political campaign and trying on some first lady looks.

Carrie necklace
I didn’t have much hope to see this necklace again, but Carrie’s most favorite accessory – her nameplate necklace made its first appearance in the sixth episode. As she was going through her wardrobe following the move to her old apartment, Carrie kept discovering pieces from her old life and integrating them to her new wardrobe.

Studded belt
Studded belt that has re appeared styled with a pink shirt dress by Carolina Herrera. This belt seems like one of the favorites of Carrie, as she doesn’t re use the items very often, but this belt has popped in few looks in Film 1 and made it to the sequel

Dior Sandals
This one was hard to spot. Considering Carrie’s obsession with footwear, it is easy to lose count of her heels, but this particular Dior boots stood out in her Boho look.

Eifel Bag
This one of the most sentimental item of the show – the Eifel Tower bag where Carrie kept Big’s ashes was also used in the movie before. I wonder if this look was Carrie’s favorite as she reused almost all items from it. Maybe we will see the green dress in the next season of the show

Gucci Bum Bag
This item seems to be a twin of the same bag that Carrie wore around her waist as a bum bag in Season 4. This time she is wearing it across her shoulders in one of my favorite looks of the show where she layers polka dot puff sleeves with a sheer white embroidered long sleeve top , and adds on more layers with a cross shoulder bag and a pearl necklace.
