As we are all excited about finding out more details of Sex and the City sequel, announced by Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis earlier in January on their Instagram accounts, leading fashion brands are trying to find ways to be part of the show.
The iconic show, followed by the two films has a number of famous looks and even made a few brands worldwide famous – such as Manolo Blahnik. The whole show is revolving around fashion, and the sequel has a great potential to contribute to the sales of numerous fashion brands.
Some of the fashion trends that we could possibly see in new film:
1. Bottega Veneta
Italian luxury fashion house’s instantly recognizable iconic bags

2. Jacquemus – Chiquito Bag
Micro bag trend started off with Jacquemus chiquito bags and been pciked up by many other brands

3. Sweatsuits
A trend that was already very strong but been accelarated by Covid.

4. Athleisure
Athleisure has been a mainstay on runways. Perhaps we will see Carrie pairing joggers with heels?

5. Sustainability
Are we going to see our favorite characters talking about ecofriendly brands and more importantly wearing clothes designed by them?
6. Recycling
Really hoping to see some of the characters recycling their outfits from previous episodes, especially since so many of them became iconic
7. Healthy eating
Are Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte going to drink coconut or almond milk, has any of them become vegan in these years?
What would you like to see in the show?
